Tree Dome Enterprises Ltd. is a large housing cooperative and research institute focused on providing residential accommodations under the sea in the form of tree domes, but this mostly serves to help fund and realize the personal "innovative" desires of its board of directors. It originates from the long-running 1999 animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants, having first appeared in the episode "Chimps Ahoy".

The "Automatic Banana Peeler", the company's most treasured invention
Tree Dome Enterprises Ltd. is a housing cooperative which mainly focuses on establishing residential tree domes on the surface of the ocean floor so as to provide new housing opportunities for land dwellers, with these tree domes being designed as durable glass bubbles complete with an airlock chamber and a fully sustainable inner biome with soil, grass and one tree to supply oxygen, as well as additional air tanks for emergencies and water purifiers.
However, the housing cooperative is just but one aspect of TDE's industry, as it is mainly a scientific research institute which promotes its inventors to devise new and innovative machines to make life easier, although in the case of the company's board of directors, they specifically want devises that will appeal to the banana-eating and poop-throwing demographic of simians, with the company's directors having spent well over a century in pursuit of such "revolutionary" devices, with one such search eventually ending upon the creation of the company's first "Automatic Banana Peeler" robot, courtesy of company scientist Sandy Cheeks, but in truth it was originally invented as a nutcracker, with the directors completely oblivious to this fact, although the robot itself preferred peeling bananas to the difficult task of cracking nuts.

The Board of Directors of Tree Dome Enterprises are the company's highest known authorities and oversee its various holdings and scientific endeavors. The board is made up of three surface world simians from noble and highly educated backgrounds known as Professor Percy, Lord Reginald and Doctor Marmalade who have somehow been alive for more than 117 years, having spent their lives in pursuit of unique inventions that will help them realize their own personal goals.

All three have a very high set of standards, at least in the eyes of their employees and are quick to voice their disappointment towards their subordinates, even reconsidering their entire business venture of setting up homes underwater as a waste of time due to displeasure with Sandy Cheeks' inventions despite all having their own relative use.
Truth be told though, despite their cultured appearance and seemingly high standards for unique inventions, they are still chimps at heart, taking primitive pleasure from simple simian pastimes and it is because of this that the unique inventions that they have spent over a century searching for are in fact those that will appeal to their most basic primal urges, such as machines that will tune ukuleles, peel bananas for them or throw their own poop at others, showing that they are not as highbrow as they appear and long for a machine that will carry out their silly simian tasks for them.

Sandy Cheeks, star scientist of Tree Dome Enterprises Ltd.
Sandra Jennifer Olivia Cheeks (or Sandy Cheeks for short) is TDE's only known but most celebrated scientist after her highly successful "Automatic Banana Peeler" (originally an Automatic Nutcracker) became a huge hit with the company's board of directors. She also devises many useful inventions for the undersea citizens of Bikini Bottom either for personal gain or for the benefit of others.
Initially, Ms. Cheeks had doubts about her futures with Tree Dome Enterprises due to the strict scrutiny of her bosses, and assumed her funding would be cut if her inventions failed to meet their very particular standards, but with the aid of her friends SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, they were able to prove the worth of her inventions to her superiors and even managed to get her a substantial pay rise once they realized the worth of her "Banana Peeler", restoring Ms. Cheeks' confidence and motivating her to continue her scientific pursuits.

Dryland Security are a private security bureau of monkeys charged with collecting and confiscating any of Ms. Cheeks' files and reports on behalf of their superiors to avoid leaking any information, such as reports and pictures of the moon's surface.
Despite their confiscations, Sandy has various methods to avoid having all of her files taken so as to keep some as mementos.

Sandy's BBQ was a Texas-styled barbecue restaurant established by Sandy Cheeks within her treedome in cooperation with SpongeBob SquarePants and Eugene H. Krabs of Krusty Krab Industries, with the aim of Krabs hoping to use it as an opportunity to expand his business, allow Sandy to earn some extra profits for her research, and allow SpongeBob SquarePants to learn a new cooking method. It originates from the 2020 video game, SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off as the third unlockable restaurant.
Shortly after it was established, the directors of Tree Dome Enterprises found out about Sandy and Mr. Krabs new venture and were greatly displeased at what they believed was a gross misuse of their employee's time and a loss of profits. This forced Sandy and SpongeBob to work overtime to prove the value of their new industry, however their efforts were met with displeasure by the board of directors... at least until SpongeBob and Sandy accidentally roasted a banana which fell into a hotdog bun, immediately catching the attention of the board of directors, who immediately went bananas over it and declared this barbecued banana dog to a culinary marvel of innovation and flavor. With their approval gained, the directors adopted the new business and allowed Sandy to continue it alongside her research, even giving her another substantial boost to her funding.
