The Blue Bird Apartments was a luxury apartment housing found in New Mason on the planet Exodus. In 2159 it was advertised for new colonists as prime real estate.
By 2170 the Earth Engine had suffered failure causing a catastrophic planetary ecosystem collapse.
In 2171, many of the colonists were evacuated by Better-World™, though many company employees were left behind in the fallout.
One such employee was Warden Rook, who was the sole inhabitant of New Mason. By 2173, Rook had salvaged whatever supplies he could scrounge up in the abandoned apartment building, after which he spray painted the doors of The Blue Bird Apartments with a red X marking it had been picked clean.
