Scumm Bar in The Secret of Monkey Island
Named after the SCUMM engine, Scumm Bar is a bar in the Monkey Island franchise located on Mêlée Island.
Ownership[]
Once was own by Ron, who sold it to Ignatius Cheese.
Later Ozzie Mandrill (Ghost Pirate LeChuck) bought it and transformed Scumm Bar into Lua Bar, a tropical themed restaurant.
Trivia[]
Since Scumm Bar was a nod to the engine used in the Monkey Island Games, the hostile takeover and renaming to Lua was a nod to the SCUMM engine being replaced by LUA.
