R.T.'s Deli is a delicatessen in Steel City on 214 Grant Street.
Overview[]
The delicatessen was founded in 1938 by R.T. Sr and was within the zone adjacent to the apartment building, The Brick. It made a name of itself by boasting to have the best sandwiches made.
In the later 1940s, the deli became the site of a battle between Steel City's local hero, Hero By Night against Saul Simian. The spot where there was damage to the checkered was roped off and made into a monument to history by the owners. It became a local attraction, where even tourists from Japan would stop by to see it.

The current owner of the deli who is an avid fan of the original Hero By Night. Later he becomes a confidant and friend to the new incarnation of Hero By Night, Jack King, after the young man discovered the ring which gave the hero his powers.
