Pete's Pizza Palace is a pizzeria featured in the 1966 comic book publication of the 1950 comic strip series, Beetle Bailey by Mort Walker, having first appeared in the 1967 story titled "Scenic Route" from issue #58.
Pete's Pizza Palace is a towering palatial restaurant that resembles a modern castle bearing the restaurant's name, complete with flag. Pete's Pizza Palace is located far in the outskirts beyond Hurleyburg's Camp Swampy military base, far over the mountains and passed a road under a waterfall where it is situated in a rather extravagant tourist trap cluttered with restaurants and hotels of all sorts, including the Hot Dog House and Log Cabin Steaks Chops.

Sergeant Orville P. Snorkel of Camp Swampy would often go down his favorite scenic route simply to avoid paying the ten cents toll into Hurleyburg, preferring to take the arduously long scenic route around the island to get into town, and although the road held many beautiful sights, as noted by Private Beetle Bailey, such as ancient totems, serene mountains and a grand waterfall, none of these things ever interested Snorkel, who made it clear that he would never stop for anything except for the extravagant restaurants passed the waterfall, such as Pete's Pizza Palace, where he would eat his heart out.
Trivia[]
Behind Pete's Pizza Palace was also a seafood restaurant that hosted a sculpture of a deep sea diver holding a fish-shaped sign that simply said "Seafood". Whether the restaurant was actually simply called "Seafood" or had its name obscured its uncertain.
