Oisellerie was an exotic bird shop in an alternate Paris, France.

Overview[]

The shop existed in the 1900s, in a world where animals were the dominant species and humans were primitive beasts. The shop was owned by a beaver who besides selling exotic non-intelligent birds, trafficked endangered humans.

His latest shipment were a pair of siblings, Leaf and Spring, that his cohorts caught in the wild, after they killed their parents. Originally the owner of the shop had a buyer for the siblings, but the ambassador of India, a tiger, came to the shop and spotted the humans. He offered to buy Leaf, so he could give her as a present to his daughter, at a price greater than what his original buyer was paying, so the beaver sold the tiger the girl.

However his buyer that he originally promised did not take kindly to him reselling what was his, resulting in the pet shop owner's death.
