When working, Mr. Devereaux may even bring along his son, Clarke "Mouth" Devereaux to assist him with plumbing mishaps. Although it appears that their business was not very profitable as they were one of many innocent Goon Docks citizens who almost lost their homes at the hands of the Hillside Country Club Corporation.

History[]

While out on one particular job, Mr. Devereaux and his son were attempting to fix a broken sink, although Mr. Devereaux did most of the work while his son watched a police movie. Needing his son's aid, Mr. Devereaux asked Mouth to turn off the TV and help him, although when Mouth did so, he was left perplexed by the fact that he could still here gunshots and police sirens, completely oblivious to the fact that there was a real police chase occurring right outside, courtesy of the local police and the Fratelli Crime Family. When Mouth went to assist his dad, both father and son ended up with a face full of water from the sink's broken pipe.

Mr. Devereaux's son Mouth, who was also part of a group of friends called "The Goonies" would later become involved in a life-changing adventure to find the lost treasure of the legendary pirate One-Eyed Willy in order to save their homes. Following the Goonies' successful adventure, the parents of the boys formed the Friends of the Goon Docks consortium to put a stop to the HCCC's operations and improve the quality of living in the Goon Docks.
