The Lethe Children's Hospital is a institution for the descendants of monsters founded by Hercules Panhellenios.
Overview[]
The hospital was founded by Hercules after he came across an orphan minotaur girl named Minette. Not knowing what to do with the orphan, Hercules brought her to a girlfriend of his who was a Greek Studies major. Together the two gave Minette a home on an isolated island off the coast of Patra, Greece. Along with Minette, a Cerberus cub also joined her on the island.
Hercules would continue on his travels, and bring other children of mythology who were abandoned or had nowhere to go. Regardless of what or who they were, Hercules opened his heart and the island to them. Due to the influx of residents, the facilities of the island expanded as more children were found or dumped on the island. Hercules built everything using his own two hands and fortune he amassed over his long immortal life.
At first starting out as an orphanage, the place expanded with a full medical staff. And also a wing dedicated to monster children who had terminal illnesses to provide them care and allow them comfort in their last years. According to the staff the hospital spends millions every year.
Twenty years later, after Hercules was killed, it was visited Venus and Namora when Athena ordered them to inspect Hercules' businesses and either incorporate them into the Olympus Group or liquidate them. Venus though despite having closed down many of Hercules property, could not turn a blind eye to this orphanage, and decided to keep the hospital funded, willing to lie to Athena and secretly fund the hospital through one of Hercules' companies.
