The Lazy B Range (aka Beadle's Ranch) was a western cattle ranch featured in the 1951 comic book series The Hawk, having appeared in the comic's first issue in the story "The Law of the Colt".
The Lazy B Range was a modest but successful cattle ranch owned and operated by the Beadle Family just outside of the crime-infested city of Abode Bend, with the ranch owing its success to the large stream on its land which provided its cattle with plenty of fresh water that kept them happy and fit in the desert sun.

The Lazy B Range is based on the real life Lazy B Ranch in Arizona which was founded by the Day family who owned the ranch for 113 years until eventually selling it in 1993.
