Gearz And Shit is a junk shop in Swap Swamp.
Overview[]
The shop was a place where various scrap and junk was sold by Teshik in the post-apocalyptic Earth. However Teshik was involved in the black market trade of advanced technology, specifically solar technology, which were banned by the new rulers of Earth, the vampire elite known as the Necro-Lords. Despite the ban Teshik dabbled in the trade, even though it costed him his face and arm after run-ins with the Necro-Lords enforcers the Anti-Grendels.
Teshik even dealt with members of the underground Grendel Clans, descendants enforcers of the Kingdom of Grendel, the previous regime which united humanity, such as the Hounds of Orion, through its members, Hari Smythe and Ptolemy Chambers. At great personal risk, Teshik acquired 106 solar panel cells, at the price of three credits each cell to be used for fun time at Smitty's Kitties And Toms. However he warned of the merchandise wild wiring, which his clients accepted despite the risk.
The exchange though was interrupted when a stranger offered advice on how to fix them with a simple procedure. Teshik and Ptolemy suspected the stranger to be a spy or more, though Hari was intrigued by the stranger's knowledge. Before introductions could be made, and Anti-Grendel squad appeared to inspect the shop on a report of it selling illegal solar tech.
Teshik though claimed he was legit, but before the Anti-Grendels could do their inspection, they noticed the stranger was attempting to slip away. He was halted and demanded to identify himself. The stranger complied uncovering his hood revealing an armored mask covered with oil, but when it was washed by a splash of water it revealed the mask of Grendel Prime.
The Ant-Grendels attempted to apprehend the Grendel, but were slaughtered in a matter of minutes. Teshik horrified by this, knowing that killing the Anti-Grendels would bring the Necro-Lords upon his shop attempted to kill the Grendel, but was stopped by Ptolemy. Upon seeing that he was discovered, the Grendel was offered by Ptolemy and Hari a speedy retreat from the Swap Swamp.
