Britt Reid, Chief Publisher of the Daily Sentinel

Britt Reid is the president and chief publisher of the Daily Sentinel, having inherited his position from his late father Dan Reid, Jr.. A wealthy man about town, respected citizen and admired boss by his employees, Britt Reid lives a secret double life as the notorious underworld criminal the Green Hornet, however his Green Hornet persona is far from malicious. Originally creating the persona to serve as a vigilante, the police and even his own paper saw him as an underworld crime lord, a role which Reid happily adopted as it allowed him to infiltrate the criminal underworld and the inner circles of its kingpins, helping him gain important information to deliver to the authorities and use in the Daily Sentinel newspaper.

Employees[]

Among Reid's employees were former police officer Mike Axford who served as a reporter, Lenora Case as Reid's personal secretary, and Kato who served as Reid's private valet and secretly as his trustworthy sidekick in crime.
